Web App Redesign for Free Fashion Internships

Overview

After five years, the user experience expectations evolved because of significant growth from job listing giants like Indeed and LinkedIn. The job board required a facelift to stay modern and relevant for users and fashion brands.

Challenges

We updated two frameworks and implement a fresh design on a site that hardly any updates since the last time we touched it. This posed a challenge of unknown bugs and conflicts that may have went unseen since the last update. Another challenge was the client’s rigid budget constraints and lofty goals to get the site updated, refreshed, and ready to scale for another five years.

Solution

We executed a light design phase and put all of the heavy lifting into the site updates to keep it refreshed and optimized.

  • Designed Responsive UX and UI for the Homepage
  • Created General Site Style guide
  • Updated Frontend from Angular 5 to 13
  • Rethemed Angular Frontend with the New Design
  • Updated Drupal 8 to 9
  • Enhanced Backend to Create a Better Job Search Experience
